Farewell Jack!
Return to Latest NewsJack from Durham Cricket Foundation has been working alongside NBS teachers at the GNCH since Autumn 2020. His role in the GNCH and Freeman hospital, has been to deliver cricket skill based PE sessions to students across the full age and ability range, and who have numerous different medical conditions, to enable them to overcome barriers to being active. Students have been able to access and engage in physical activity and to learn and develop a wide range of skills. This has been extremely beneficial to our long-term students who have been able to engage in sessions on a regular basis. Participating in these sessions has also helped to improve student wellbeing.
Students have absolutely loved working with Jack and have really looked forward to their sessions with him. Jack has formed really good relationships with all of the students that he has worked with.
Jack is moving on to pastures new and will be hugely missed by students, parents, ward staff and most of all the NBS team at the GNCH. Good luck Jack!
